Computer wont read photos

Hello, I have an Hp 500 PC. When evr I try to plug my phone into the USB port or a SDHC card into the sd slot, it will read the device but not the pictures on them. What could be the issue? And yes, I have tried them on a different computer and they both work fine...

i can view the pictures i have emailed myself, but not from devices

What exactly do you see when you plug the phone in via the USB port or the SD card into the card slot? Sometimes it can be a bit tricky to find where the pictures are located.

it just says "cannot find fhotos or video on this device
