I have a GTX 750TI graphics card with a AMD FX 4300 Quad Core processor and 8 GBs of Ram. MY HDMI cable works for my TV, but I wanted to add a monitor as well. I have tried 2 monitors, both of different companties (Dell and HP) And both work on other computers. The cable I'm using works as well. But my computer won't detect either monitor when hooked up.

UEFI is your BIOS, do you know how to get to the BIOS? Also, what motherboard do you have?

When i built my PC i couldn't use my mobo for some reason, turns out i had to enable Intel HD graphics. What motherboard are you using?

I think i found your problem. You have a dedicated Video card, in this case your 750Ti. That is disabling integrated graphics on your motherboard, therefore rending any display ports on your mother board useless. You need to go into your UEFI and enable integrated graphics, to my knowledge this shouldn't disable your 750TI they should run together, this will allow you to use your mother board to display.

And somehow, I finally fixed it. Dunno what I did, but it worked. Thank you all for the help, I'm pretty sure it was one of your things that finally got it to work! So thank you all again, you're all a big help! :)

Sorry i missed your last couple comments, haven't been near a computer for a a few days. Sweet that its working however. Been a pleasure :)
