Hello all,

I've read through a lot of the threads with the same topics but it doesn't seem to fix it.
I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to computers but I know that my previous computer did have the same TV as a second display but now that I've purchased a new one and plugged the HDMI cord in it won't display it. So I know the HDMI is plugged into the right spot and the cable should be Okay.

Specs :

GeForce GTX 960 - 1 x DVI, 1 x HDMI, 3 x DisplayPort
ASRock B150M Pro4S Micro-ATX - LGA1151 Socket - B150 - Gigabit Ethernet - HD Audio - USB 3.0

and the TV is a PHILIPS LCD Flat screen

Side info:

I just installed the driver for the video card and the motherboard yesterday and tried again and it still wouldnt budge.
I tried to detect another display in the display configuration, and I tried the same in the Nvidia software still would not work.

Any help is appreciated,

Solution
See if your are getting the output from the integrated GPU instead. Not all motherbds default to turning off the iGPU when you install another GPU.
