I had windows 7 installed and the computer worked fine for about a year until today. When I first turned it on the computer froze during its start up at the bios menu. I waited a few minutes then turned it off and back on. This time nothing appeared on the monitor, the fans turned on, and the motherboard speaker constantly emitted a high pitch sound. I turned it off then back on with the same result.

I don't know what to do if anyone can give advice/feedback/comment that would be much appreciated.

-thanks
