I recently updated my drivers on my acer desktop computer and now my computer won't boot up. The lights will turn on and the fan will run but only for about 10 seconds until I hear a click and it turns off. The monitor will not show a picture, the keyboard and mouse won't work, and any accessories (speaker, controller, etc) won't work. I am not sure what to do since I can't boot into safe mode (can't see what I am doing).

How can I restore it if I can't see the screen?

to see if it a driver issue or hardware. if you can pull the data or power plug from the hard drive see if the acer logo shows up at all or if the issue still there. if the issue still there then you have a power supply or video card issue. if the pc has a small video card and onboard video with the power off try pulling out the gpu see if the unit will post to onboard video. if not then your stock power supply may have failed. i would gogole the model see if there any system board recalles/ cap issue on your unit. if your unit is under warranty let the vendor fix it. if it out of warranty and the pc uses a stock power supply pick up a good 520w seasonicv power supply.

Well I unplugged the power supply to the hard drive and that did nothing. Then I tried plugging in a different hard drive and that didn't work. How can I tell if it's a graphics card problem or a power supply problem?
