Computer won't start although all fans spinning and lights trun on

So i turned of my computer today to give it a thorough cleaning. I cleaned everything using a blow drier at low warm and med fan settings.

Now when i turn on the pc, all the fans spin correctly and the lights come on....but i cannot get my computer to boot. In fact i don't even get a display.

did you open up the components to clean your pc????

if you did just make sure you did put it back on correctly

no i didn't remove any component....just cleaned up my pc with everything installed in its place.

ok....than just make sure that there are no dust residue remaining on your ram and your processor socket.

many a times blowing air too hard makes dust settle on to the ram slots and even the processor socket making them inaccessible.

just make sure this isn't the case with you.

you will need to remove the ram s form the ram slot and clean the ping with an eraser and the slots with a paint brush or something.

as for the processor you will need to remove the heat sink and take the processor out of the socket and clean the socket with a low flow air blower.

after that just turn the pc on without putting in the ram and the processor. you will start hearing ram error beeps.

after a few seconds, turn of the pc and put it all back together.

and make sure you use a good quality heat sink paste.
