Hello all, and thank you in advance for the help,
Im sure there have been many problems similar but i made a new post bc mine is very unique as it is ridiculous.
I was messing around behind my PC and a phone charger plugged into my PC touched the outlet on the wall and my computer shut off and wont turn back on (also caused a large arcing between the phone charger tip and the outlet). I found out that the outlet doesnt work anymore but when I plugged the PC into another outlet it still wouldn't start, but i can hear a mechanical noise that sounds like the fans starting coming from the PSU for a brief minute everytime i plug it back into the wall and hit the power on button.
Any clues as to what can be damaged (beside my poor wall socket) and how to fix it?
