However I have a Nvidia 660 and a Evga 500w power supply

Things I noticed:

Before, the computer would come on and would work, but after awhile the image on the monitor
would be frozen on screen and the keyboard and mouse would not work, forcing me to restart the computer

Then, the computer would barely make it to the desktop before shutting down and restarting with the blinking orange light, the light should be solid blue

Now when I press the power button all I get is the blinking orange light and no image on the monitor

CPU, case, power supply, and graphics card fans are spinning
keyboard LED's don't come on

Monitor does not come on and stays on standby

I have tried starting the computer with all cords disconnected and just the power cord and monitor but to no avail.

I have had the power supply for about a year and a half and the graphics card for about 3 years. I also had the computer itself for about 6 years. I'm assuming their is a problem with the power supply, but a year and half sounds like a short lifespan. Any help appreciated.

I haven't left it on long enough too see. I usually just turn off the computer as soon as I see the orange light blink a few times. Also, why would overheating be the problem if it does not turn on all the way?
