Computer won't start

I5 6400 at 4.5ghz
EVGA GTX 970 SSC
8g Corsair Vengeance at 2333 mhz
As Rock z170
Windows 8.1 on Samsung SSD
Thermaltake 650w

Mid game in Battlegrounds my computer froze completely, I forced a shut down by holding down the power button.

It restarted once, I went to BIOS and tried to re use my 3.5ghz overclock profile. After loading that profile it turned off and now won't start again.

Press the power button, nothing, jump CMOS, nothing, tried unplugging and replugging in every PSU cable, nothing.

I'm guessing its the power supply, but just want some extra input before I run to Best Buy and waste my money.

take the gpu out and run just the igpu and see if it power up

Tested the power supply with a single case fan and its fine. Computer is back up and running again, no idea what went wrong with it
