My house got hit by lightning a few days ago and it fried our living room TV and Cable box that was connected to it. Our router ended up being fun but it caused the internet to short out for some reason.

My power supply seems to provide power to my computer since the lights from the motherboard and the lights to the graphics card light up but the button on my case to turn my computer on wont work and I have no other extra system to try the components to figure out which part of my PC might of been fried. I believe it isn't the PSU because I ordered another one on amazon and it came earlier today and that doesn't seem to fix it. I tried to use the paperclip jump start trick and that didn't work either for some reason. I think it might be the motherboard but I am unsure since the orange lights on it turn on.

Just a suggestion, I'm not an expert in PC'es but since your motherboard is lighting up, try to unplug the start button, and also check if your CPU is damaged or not. Good luck!
