I had issues with my gigabyte H110M-A mobo not recognizing my keyboard on bootup so i couldnt access my bios no matter what port i put the keyboard in. I read i had to clear cmos by removing the battery for 5 minutes and putting it back in, so i did but now my computer just turns on spins the fans and the leds on the front panel turn on but nothing is displayed on screen and after a minute it turns itself off and then back on i cant get any info from the screen is there something wrong with the mobo or did i do something wrong? what could i do to fix this?

Solution
all i know to tell you is to start over from the basics in case you missed anything. first reset CMOS by doing what this video shows at 1:30 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdHH9KrceR0 then...
Step 1) Remove all graphics cards, RAM sticks, hard drives, optical drives, and USB drives.

Step 2) The only cables coming from your power supply that you need to have connected to the motherboard are... 24pin atx power connector, 8pin(sometimes it's 4pin) cpu power connector.

Step 3) The cables that you need to connect from your Case's front panel to the motherboard are... HD Audio cable, and the assorted cables that go to JFP1 header on motherboard(look for this in your motherboard's manual, and do it as labled.)

Step 4) Connect CPU Cooler...
you shouldnt be having this problem by just resetting the CMOS. you put the battery back in correctly? does your cpu have integrated graphics? if so remove your gpu and plug display cable into motherboard's display port and try

i have an intel core i3 6100 so yes it has integrated and ive tried that already and it didnt make a difference removing the graphics card it was running well no issues before besides the bios acting iffy about the keyboard ive even tried using a different battery from an identical motherboard ive owned one of these before and it didnt work correctly either

nothing turns on when i try booting it since i did the cmos thing it just spins the fans the case leds come on then everything shuts down nothing on screen or anything

Step 4) Connect CPU Cooler to the CPU Fan header on motherboard.

Step 5) Insert only 1 RAM stick into the correct slot that is listed in your motherboard's manual. (Do not just stick it in the first slot, that is not always where it goes.)
Step 6) Install the display cable you will be using into the display port on the motherboard's I/O panel. Install your keyboard. Plug in power supply, and turn the switch on.

Boot up the PC... you should either be taken directly into the BIOS, or get a prompt on the screen.

Solution

i have just tried that no difference fans spin up lights come on then turns itself off after a minute or so

Hey man thank you so much i swear ive done all those things over and over but it finally worked specifically reseating the graphics card and removing a stick of ram did it for me

one of my sticks of ram is dead so now i only got 4 gb but thats ok with me

ok, just make sure if you ever buy new ram to buy the amount you want in one pack, as adding a new stick down the road, even if it's the same type, is not guaranteed to work with the existing stick.

i bought 4gb of crucial ram ddr4 and a month later on amazon went back into previous purchases and bought the same one again is that wrong? i didnt have the money at the time to buy all 8gb in one pack so i had to go back

could be. RAM from different packaging isn't guaranteed to work, even if it's the exact same model. I personally don't have much experience with knowing how true this is, because I've only ever done it this way once, and it was longgggg ago... but people swear by it. might want to google and read up on this issue specifically, I should probably do so myself, and will.
