Lightning strike hit and only affected my computer. Nothing else in the house died.... My computer was hooked up to a surge protector. The only thing I checked was the 24pin with a paper clip and it seemed to just power the fans and dvd drive from what i could hear. I don't know how much power it is outputing though. The capacitators on the mobo seem to be fine too. It's an asrock z77 pro 3. I live in a rural area, so Im lost on how to approach this.

Solution
Well, I've never heard of the brand, but after some quick Googling it seems like a low cost solution...
It could have just not been capable of handling the surge from the lightning.

As most others have said, its most likely the PSU. As long as there is no visible charring on other components, or bulging of capacitors, its probably safe to say your power supply to the brunt of the abuse.
