Computer won't turn on after Shutdown unless I hold power button or unplug the power

So, I've recently bought some new parts for my computer (among them a new PSU). It's been working great, without any hitches or the likes for the most part. But I have this weird problem where, once I shutdown the computer (normally, via the shutdown button on Windows), when I try turning it back on later, it just doesn't respond to the Power button being pressed. I can see the lights in the SSD are already on but nothing happens. To get it to turn on again, I have to either long press Power button for a few seconds or unplug it from the power outlet, and then it turns on normally. Still, I'm worried this might damage something in the long run, so I'd prefer to get this sorted.

Here are my computer's components:
PSU: Corsair 500W VS CP-9020118-LA
CPU: Intel Core i5 3470 3.2GHz
Motherboard: ASUS P8H61-M LX2 R2
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz
GPU: ASUS Radeon HD 460 DUAL OC
Storage: 240GB SSD from AMD (waiting for a 1TB HDD to be delivered)
OS: Windows 10 Home Single Language

To my USB ports, I also have my USB Mouse and Keyboard plugged in, as well as my Headset and a USB Wi-fi Adapter (because I can't get a cable into my room, so I have to use that).

I would really appreciate an answer. Thank you for your attention.

Sounds like hibernation mode at its finest. Go into your advanced power settings and completely disable hibernation; it's never worked correctly for me since the day it was first introduced.
