Hi! I've just replaced a dead PSU (CX750M) and replaced it with a LEPA G1000M MaxGold. When I tried plugging everything into the PSU I was surprised as the computer wouldn't turn on so I unplugged everything and only plugged the 24Pin cable and the CPU cable and the computer would run fine. I then turned off the computer to plug the graphics cards into the PSU and when i turned it on again, everthing worked fine. I then turned off the computer once again and tried plugging the SATA cables plugged to my HDD into the PSU. Now when I did that and tried booting my PC, it simply wouldn't even power on (No flick, no nothing).
I've been at it trying to figure out how I could fix this issue for 2 days but I simply can't figure it out, please help me.

Thanks in advance<3

EDIT: Forgot to mention that when I plug my Disc Drive into the PSU with the SATA cables the PC won't turn on either.

I have a feeling the SATA cable or HDD is somehow causing the system to short. Do you have a spare SATA cable? Can you try putting the HDD on a wooden surface, hooking it up with the SATA port and then powering on your system? Also use a different SATA port on the mobo.

I've tried everything you said but to no avail. I've also tried it with both the new SATA cables that came with the new PSU and the old ones that I used with my CX750M.

Wow, actually, I tried with the another SATA cable that was offered with the PSU and now everything appears to work just fine. Will keep this thread updated if anything goes wrong. <3

^You've also taken the HDD physically out of the case whilst being hooked up with the PSU & mobo and then tried powering on?

Also make sure the PSU end of the SATA power cable is connected properly to the PSU too.

Edit: just saw your second post. Cool! Fingers crossed.
