computer wont turn on

ok so i am puitting everything together for the first time. I press the power button on the case and nothing happened. I notice that the motherboard light is green when i plug the psu in

motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+
psu: Corsair CX Series 600 Watt ATX/EPS Modular
CPU: AMD FX-6300
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Blue 8 GB (2X4 GB) PC3-12800 1600mHz DDR3
Case: Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Black Gaming Computer Case Galaxy-01

it seems that everything is plugged in i just cant figure out why it wont turn on, the mothewrboard might be turning on because the light is green but the fans wont turn on

Check that all your power connections are good, especially the 24 and the 4/8 Pin mobo connectors...if no joy there, might want to bench it and troubleshoot, havea guide that might help here:
