posting your specs would help solve the problem.
but anyways, is the gpu light the only thing that turns on or are the fans spinnig as well?
if they are spinning at normal pace then check the cables at the end of your gpu to see if it is connected to your monitors.
if they spin but very loud (also know as thermal throtteling) then it is a problem with your OS, this means that your windows version is corrupted whiche means that your computer doesnt know that is is a computer basicaly. i have had this with an older computer when i disconnected the cable from the hdd's whiche made it thermal thermalthrotte.
if they do not spin then check all the cables from your psu to the components and the cable going from the wall to the psu.
