So my computer was working fine the other day and then the next morning I tried to turn it on and nothing. Only thing that's on is the GPU light. I don't think it's cables or outlets. I tried that paper clip on the power supply and the fans turns on. Not sure if that means the power supply is working. I'm not really a computer expert. Any ideas what the problem might be?

posting your specs would help solve the problem.
but anyways, is the gpu light the only thing that turns on or are the fans spinnig as well?
if they are spinning at normal pace then check the cables at the end of your gpu to see if it is connected to your monitors.
if they spin but very loud (also know as thermal throtteling) then it is a problem with your OS, this means that your windows version is corrupted whiche means that your computer doesnt know that is is a computer basicaly. i have had this with an older computer when i disconnected the cable from the hdd's whiche made it thermal thermalthrotte.
if they do not spin then check all the cables from your psu to the components and the cable going from the wall to the psu.

what you coud try is to swith the psu in a different pc or chache the psu in your current system but this will only work if you got 2 computers ofcourse

i hope this helps!
