I have Dell Inspiron 1405 laptop with 1 GB DDR2 ram . I want to up grade with 2 GB DDR3 ram. Is this 2GB DDR3 ram is compatible with DDR2 ram slot and lap top?

NO, DDR3 has 204 PINs DDR2 only has 200 PINs
