Ok i just got off the phone with these people. I hate them so much. Almost 2 months ago i ordered a nice pretty name brand Asus CD-ROM from computerbrain.com. About a week later I recieved a package from them and in it was a scuzzy ugly crappy cheap poor Lite-On CD-ROM. Same speed, same color, looks similar, but its the ghetto version of it. And its much cheaper.
So i called computerbrain.com up, they said i would have to send it back with an RMA number on the box, and of course pay for shipping myself cuz of there mistake. I did this, that day it was in the mail. A month went by, and nothing. I emailed them once, nothing. Emailed again a week later, nothing. So i called them up a week later and they said I have to have my order number or RMA. Sadly i dont have the order number because it was for someone elses pc and they threw it out, no RMA because its written on the box....in there recieving department. And my money is still in there bank. I have no drive, no money, and I'm very unhappy with them. Both times i called i couldnt even understand them because they only have asain peopel working there with no english skills.
I would definetly not order from these people again, hope others have better luck.

But what about bad customers? It's too bad you ignored the common things people do to avoid problems like this-

1. Keep (at the very least) a copy of ALL paperwork, even packing lists.
2. Take a look at a company's return policies before ordering.
3. Take a look at a company's reputation at Bizrate.com or bbbonline.org.
4. For goodness sake, keep a record of RMA numbers!
5. Never send anything, anywhere, unless you have insurance and either a tracking number or return receipt, depending on who you ship through.
6. If possible, make the purchase through a credit card so that if something like this happens in spite of your following items 1-5, then you can still dispute the charge.

Sorry if that strikes you as harsh, but these basic rules have been published time after time and we still hear from people like you who ignore them... and then regret it.

=== Never assume ANYTHING ===

Thy should have sent you a replacement with the right part(by person) and then u give them the wrong part..and peatree is right.
