Hello , guys i build this computer and like now and then it completely Freezes .. no error no code . already went to event viewer to see if i can find any error but nothing( or i might not be looking good enought ) . i have to Hard Reboot to get it ok again!
I happens like once every 2 days maybe , its not that often .. sometimes goes days without happening , normally when gaming but already happened once browsing random stuff.
All my drivers are up to date , i already ran AIDA 64 and windows check for memory problems .. the RAM apparently are just fine no errors atal !
Windows 11 Fully up to date..
Is there anyway or any app i can run at background so when it happens again i can isolate the error ?

Specs
Asus Rog Strix z590 Gaming mobo
Gskill Trident Z 2x16gb 3600 Mhz
rtx 3090 suprim x
i9 10900k
m2 500gb WD black edition
850W Rog Strix PSU

Thanks alot in advanced !
Regards , Hugo.

Hey there,

Is your bios updated? How old is the PSU? The min for a 3090 is an 850w, however with transient power spikes, I would advise a higher wattage, and equally good PSU to replace your current one. Whilst I'm not suggesting the PSU is the issue right now, it's something to consider.

I'd test your ram outside of windows environment with memtest86+ and run for 4 passes, without errors.

Thanks for the Input, i just did that memtest86 .. omfg 4 hours almost lol , but passed with 0 errors ! the PSU its actually new , like 2 months old , well im not discarding the PSU, but it already crashed without beeing gaming , just once to be honest !
Also in all games i play i have my max frames locked to 164 as my monitor is 165 hz so normaly my GPU is not near its max load at all !
If i dont find any solution for this i think i have no other option on trying a new PSU probably!
I just wish there could be a way that i can have any report or code on the error when it happens!
Thank you again for the help!

Noted that you looked in Event Viewer.

FYI:

http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-3128616/windows-event-viewer.html

https://www.manageengine.com/produc...b/how-to/how-to-export-event-viewer-logs.html

Preview before physically printing. Some logs can be quite lengthy. Custom select the log pages to be printed if and as necessary.

= = = =

Also look in Reliability History. Much more User friendly and the time line format can prove helpful to follow errors and error patterns.

Connections:

Power down, unplug, open the case.

Double check by sight and feel that all connectors, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections are fully and firmly in place.

No one wants to force connections (or anything else for that matter) in a new build.

So what may feel tight and in place is actually not so.

Carefully unplug and re-plug connections and seatings a few times to ensure that all connections are smooth, tight, and firmly in place.

Hello , thank you for the Input !
So i just Installed Windows 10 .. just for the sake of it, did a clean install , formated my SSD M2 drive to only on partition ! Installed my graphics card drivers , started Wazrzone 2 install .. went for a movie when i came back was crashed again !

https://ibb.co/zPvG6Sp

In that link you can see the event viewer .. The HighLighted Line is the Last line before the Crash that i can assume due the Time Gap between them .. but i cannot take any information atall by that error .. this is so annoying !

I already did that a few weeks ago .. rechecked every connecter .. but nothing

Thank You

What are the details of the red icon 6008, error?

Remember to look in Reliability History.

And also look in Update History. There may be more information about the attempted update.
Hi , my pc is now worse with win10 i think .. it crashes after a while even without using it ... while in idle , ffs!
The details are in the error " The previous system shutdown at 23:35:22 on ‎19/‎11/‎2022 was unexpected " and in Reliability History its the same thing . !
Thank You

-google how to force a memory dump using a keyboard. make the registry settings.
- set the memory dump type to kernel memory dump.
now you can force a memory dump when the system locks up. (maybe) Then provide the kernel dump so it can be looked at in a windows debugger.

you can also force a memory dump on a running system and provide that. Often I can see the problem before the system actually locks up.

you might consider disabling all sound sources that do not have a speaker connected to them.
sometimes the motherboard sound driver can respond to the GPU sound driver and cause the GPU stack to overflow. It can cause a lock up where the screen does not refresh. if this is the case, check your keyboard still gets input (check caps lock or numlock and see if you can toggle the led light if you have one) if the keyboard still gets input you can force a memory dump via keyboard and provide the memory dump for the debugger.
