Computer's screen is black after suspension mode

A few days ago I left my computer to sleep mode I guess (I'm from Greece and I'm not aware of the appropriate translation). Then when I tried to start it over by pressing all the keys on keyboard or by clicking the mouse yet didn't work at all. Then I assumed the problem was internal, so I checked everything. I couldn't find anything wrong until I noticed a green light on the motherboard, which had never been there before. I also cleaned it piece by piece and again I put all parts back correctly however; the screen keeps being black. It makes a strong sound which had always been normal for a few seconds. That is, I mean that it used to make that sound before, specifically while I was turning it on and then after a while the sound was lighter.
I have read somewhere a similar thread in which a suggested solution was about waking up the pc by using the keyboard or mouse after clicking the corresponding icons while open. The thing is that mine never opened!
Is there any other way to make it work? I'd appreciate any help!

My drive is a Toshiba OCZ TR150 of 240GB.
My motherboard is by Asus but I can't find the exact model.
My graphic card is by Gain ward.
The power supply is by powertech ATX-530W
These are all the information I can give!

P.S. Sorry for my English!

Does your system supports deeper sleeping states of CPU? If it's older than win7, there might be some troubles (but I'm not 100% sure).
What's your CPU model?
What's the exact name of this power supply? It doesn't sound too good imo (I'm not up to date, so I might be wrong 😀)
If you cannot remember model of the motherboard and cpu, try using stuff like cpu-z to get the names from it.
Also, gpu-z might be useful to obtain full name of your graphics card.
One more thing - is your SSD fully packed, or close to being full? Maybe the PC writes pagefile on disk that simply have enough space, and then loses time to read it back?
