My computer, or any of the devices in my house, won't connect to my main SSID from my router. It will only connect through the guest network. How can i get it to where all the devices work on the main and not just through the guest? i have an asus router RT-n66r

yes they Have 2 differnt names and two different passwords

IME, the a likely reason for this is the most prosaic. A mistyped passphrase. My first suggestion for connection issues is to type the passphrase into notepad, or another text editor, then copy and paste into the router's wifi security setup page and into the wifi connectiod on a computer. This addresses a common problem yet is quick and easy so there is little time spent if it doesn't solve the issue.

I'ts not a mistyped password because i did write it down. It didnt say any problems with incorrect password. it would start connecting stop and then say "unable to connect to ******"
