I Have BIOS-STAR Motherboard, COMS Setting Not Save

You might need a new Motherboard battery.

My BIOS does not save after I unplug the PC - is this the same issue? My previous Mobo also did this so I replaced it. I can not believe now that 2 mobos both good ones from Asus (P8Z86 Pro) would have faulty batteries.

But everytime the power goes i have to reset all my Bios settings. Very frustrating.

Sure sounds like a failed battery. It could be the bios itself. Have you checked their website to see if there is an updated bios available?
