[SOLVED] Comuter newb in desperate need of help with external hard drive

Digital 4TB external hard drive that is less than 2 months old. I made a newb move, which I didnt know at the time. I took it from a Windows PC to a Mac and back again. Now the Mac doesn't recognize it at all, and the windows PC doesnt recogize it in "my computer" but in disk management it is showing up (see screenshot below-disk 2).

I have been reading many websites, and have downloaded pretty much every "recovery" software out there, but they all just get hung up looking for drives. I treid renaming the drive but it says that the page needs to be refreshed.

Is there anything at all I can do to save the data on this drive?

How does CrystalDiskInfo see the drive?

Can DMDE display a Partitions window?

I have had good success with TestDisk utility.

But: Before you start recovery, get / buy / loan / steal another 4TB drive, make an image copy (yes, it could take forever), and perform your recovery efforts on the backup. When everything else fails, seek professional help.
