concerns about hd 7770

hello all currently i am running on an i3 2100, an h61 mobo, integrated graphics, 4gb of ram, and a 450w psu. i have a couple of concerns regarding whether it'd be a good idea to get a hd 7770 or not

1. will the cpu bottleneck my gpu or will it be the other way around?

2. would upgrading to an i3 3210 help at all in any way?

3. i have a coolermaster 450w psu, will it require changing after i install a dedicated gpu?

4. do i need to get a better motherboard?

5. im looking to play guild wars 2 on this computer and have read that an i5 3570 non k and an hd 7770 can easily max out its settings. so would an i3 and hd 7770 be able to get decent settings then?

PS i will be running the same components for two different computers. one will be at 1680x1050 resolution and the other will be at 1440x900. i am still a noob at this but correct me if im wrong but from my understanding the less resolution i will run games at the less power i will be needing from GPUs, is this correct? because if so a better option for me would be to get a cheaper in price card than the 7770 to run the 1440x900 resolution one.

2.) Yes, but very minimal. Not worth it.

5.) Yes, you can also max the settings but it would be around 40 FPS based on my estimation.

i am new to building gaming rigs and do not get this FPS thing at all. i do understand that it stands for frames per second and that the higher it is the better. but what is considered to be a decent FPS for guild wars 2 anyway or for gaming in general? i dont want to be lagging so would 40 FPS be enough? thanks

What do you mean by you will be running the same components for two different computers? Are you going to run like 2 guild wars games on the same hardware?

FPS is how many frames your monitor will display in one second. Meaning, the more FPS, the smoother the visuals will be. I personally prefer 60 FPS because that is what my eyes are used to. But 40 FPS is also fine, it's not lag, but it's not super smooth either. Just enough for playing games. im setting up another computer with the same settings as mine if everything goes well which will be running at a lower resolution and which will also be running gw2. will i be able to save up on cash if i get another good budget gpu but is cheaper than the hd 7770? since it will run at a lower resolution after all or does running games at different resolutions irrelevant to gpu performance?

You are correct. Running at a lower resolution will yield better performance. However, I would suggest that you still buy the HD 7770 instead of getting a cheaper one.

Hi I am also wanting to buy a HD7770(Sapphire) in the near future.
However I have heard that there are compatibility issues.
So what do you suggest for this configuration (old I know, but still)

Intel core 2 duo e4600 2400 MHz Allendale
2x1GB DDR2 667 MHz RAM
Intel e945GCZ motherboard with PCIe 1.1 x16.
Geforce 210
Hitachi 160GB HDD
Kingston 60GB SATAIII SSD
16x DVD-RW drive
Odyssey 450W SMPS(Thinking of getting Corsair CX430 soon, the old 28A model)
Windows XP SP3

What I want to know is that I have heard the HD7770 may have issues with the Windows XP operating system, or a driver problem.
Should I buy it or go for a similarly priced nVidia card?
Having a HDMI (non mini) is also a requirement.
It'd also help if you could tell me how I should uninstall the 210 and install the 7770 -- heard is not so simple as yank one out and put in the other.

450W is enough.
