Hello everyone, I have some questions about adding a new graphics card because I'm concerned about the extra heat it'll bring in.
My computer right now is a lenovo k330b (image of interior, it's not very pretty) with a 600 W PSU and a Sapphire Radeon HD 5770. It has a lenovo motherboard, 8 GB of ram, an i7 2660k with the stock heatsink/fan, a single fan on the backside and two hard drives. Although it's mostly been fine for the past 4 years, I wanted a better graphics card and got a decent deal on a slightly used MSI GTX 780 TI from a friend. The most noticeable difference is that my old graphics card runs on around 100 W, while the 780 TI runs on ~250W, which is a huge difference. I'm really concerned about things in my computer running too hot, especially since the airflow is not that amazing in my computer's case.
My current temperatures on Open Hardware Monitor in a room around 23.33 C doing nothing but watching streams / browsing the internet are (current / max):
Ambient 1(?): 18 C / 20 C
Ambient 2(?): 45 C / 52 C
CPU core 1: 50 C / 68 C
CPU 2: 53 C / 74 C
CPU 3: 58 C / 73 C
CPU 4: 50 C / 68 C
GPU (5770, haven't tried 780 TI yet): 69 C / 72 C
HDD 1: 42 C / 44 C
HDD 2: 35 C / 36 C
Does anyone have any idea if I would be fine or not? What changes could I make other than completely changing my case? I've also been told that I should be fine with a 600 W PSU for this setup but I'm still concerned slightly.
