Hello everyone. Thank you for your time

It's my first time building a PC, I'm about to order the components on amazon, however before I do I have some concerns, I've read some articles about assembling the PC, however these things doesn't get mentioned anywhere

This is my planned build
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/v6jysY

The concerns are the following:

-When I assemble everything, where should I connect my monitor?
For what I have understood, it should be plugged into the graphics card, but:
a)Is there a port where the monitor should be connected first? Or are all ports active, and I can plug the monitor directly on the DVI-D port and it will work without problems?
b)if there is no video driver, does the GPU still work?
I have a Gateway monitor that only has DVI-D and VGA inputs, and I'd like to use the DVI-D port on the GPU.

-Will I be able to use any keyboard and mouse to do the config stuff? My keyboard and mouse are plug and play... Does the lack of any kind of drivers make any difference?

-Which are the steps to take in order to upgrade the graphics card later? Most likely to a Pascal card

Thank you for your help.

A) You can use any of the three video cable ( HDMI,DVI,VGA) to power it on, DVI-D and HDMI produce digital output,so in any of the two can be used. Connect your monitor with GPU via DVI.

B) The GPU will work, you can insert the driver CD which comes along the GPU and upgrade the drivers to latest after that,or simply download the update from GPU's website and install the driver.

- You can use monitor and mouse, as your motherboard powers on,simply those that are connected to it at the back will power up and become functionable.

- Nothing, you just buy a new card take out old one and plug it in, with same method. Be cautious to fill up all the PCI-e slot in the GPU with the PCI-e cable that comes with your PSU.

Thank you for your answer
One last question, though. Can I configure using the VGA cable, and then be able to use the HDMI output by just unplugging the VGA and connecting the HDMI? Or how do I do it?

You don't have an HDMI Output in monitor , But you have a DVI slot, right? Grab a DVI cable and connect your monitor to the GPU ,both VIA DVI cable.
HDMI and DVI are superior, while VGA isn't, you can use HDMI or DVI. Since your monitor only has a DVI slot and no HDMI slot, use DVI cable.

BTW i was interested to edit your selected build to make it even more better for some less price.

The thing is my monitor for whatever reason stopped working a few hours ago, I hope it will run again before the build is assembled, but even if it doesn't, I have an old 1280x1024 CRT monitor which I will use to configure, while I wait for a friend to get back from his business trip and sell me his monitor (1080p LED) which will happen around two days after the components arrive. But his monitor only has HDMI. So I'm just thinking about alternatives.

I really appreciate your help, but I don't think it's plausible for me to change anything. I live in Mexico, dude. Amazon is very recent here, there isn't enough variety,
-I'm gonna need the extra sata slots that the B150 chipset has. I have 4 different 1TB HDDs that I will plug in, and also the SSD. The HDDs are from pre-built PCs that have died on me on the last 6 years because of... tier 5 power supplies.
-The RAM has actually lowered its price and yes, I'm getting 16GB. Not DDR4 though, the price difference between the motherboard I chose and a motherboard with DDR4 support is almost $1500 pesos more, like $80 dollars more.
-Same thing happens with the 950 and 750Ti. Though this time the difference is around $50, I will be using the card for just a couple of months and I'm OK with 720p gaming until Pascal comes out. Also, everyone keeps telling me 750Ti is overkill for just PhysX, imagine using a 950 for the same thing. Wasted money in the end.
-I was actually going to get that exact PSU, but when I checked yesterday the prices, that PSU model actually doubled its price for whatever reason, so I had to change it.
Just checked, the price is the usual right now. I'll get that one. Thanks.
-About the SSDs, same, the 850 120GB costs the same as the Kingston 240GB here, so I'd like save a lot of programs on the SSD that opens slightly slower, rather than having few programs that open faster.
-And I changed my mind to the SPEC-02 case. Actually cheaper than the N200, and it's windowed :p

Well, after all you did help me change something. I really appreciate your time, though :)
