[SOLVED] Condenser Mic Worth It

Is the Neewer NW-800 worth it when connected to Behringer Audio Interface (UMC-22) ?
I'm asking because when I'm gaming with my friends they can hear a lot of backround noise from my Xbox one headset mic so I thought that buying a condenser mic with pop filter and audio interface maybe a more expensive but better solution...

You may be better off with a Cardioid Microphone rather than a Condenser. A condenser mic is generally more sensitive and will likely pick up more than just your xbox. My Rode NT1A picks up birdsong... A cardioid microphone won't pick up anywhere near as much background noise but you'll have to have the mic right next to your face. A pop shield doesn't really filter out noise it just makes the plosives (P's and T's) a little softer but it's a good idea to have one on either mic

Look up the differences between the two but generally speaking if you can set up your workspace to where there is next to no background noise then get a condenser. If you have lots of background noise that can't be avoided then go for a cardioid mic.
