Condition Zero update without internet

Hi.

Is there some place where I can download the patches for condition zero? As
far as I can tell, it can only be updated through steam while a PC is
online. The computer I'm playing lacks an internet connection though. I
want to download the patch, write it on CD-RW and apply it at home.

As far as I know the only way is through steam. If you know someone who has CZ
with all the patches you could get them to burn the gcf files to disk for you
though then you can overwrite your unpatched files and you're done.

In that case, I'll simply install the game on this PC, update with steam,
burn the c:\games\conditionzero directory to disc, and overwrite the same
directory in my home pc. Cross your fingers...

If you install steam you will need the "c:\program
files\valve\steam\steamapps\*your account name*\condition zero" folder too
probably. I bought my CZ over steam so I'm not sure about retail installations
but it's worth checking that folder too.

Retail goes into a separate folder. Completely independent of Steam. There's no
updates for it though, apart from a 'deleted scenes' mission?

No idea. I thought there are patches for better looking player-models and
stuff?

Last time I checked the counter-strike.net forums, those patches were for the
Steam install only. The retail box installs Steam if you click the play online
icon.
