I am considering ordering some of this high conductivity thermal paste for my CPU heat sink.
P5G41T-M LX motherboard, standard cooler.

We have a heat wave at the moment, ambient temps in the high 30's C.
I saw a peak temperature of my CPU core @ 100 C. which gave me a bit of a shock.
I have dusted and cleaned fans etc.
I changed the paste again (ordinary paste from China - non descript). This helped a bit.

I don't know if my heat sink is aluminium or not. If it is not, I will order some of this (superior) Conductonaut.

Comments on the above please?

Jim.

Edit: I should also explain that the above temperature was during normal internet usage, maybe during a short video. No games or excessively high demand usage.

It is the one that was standard on this motherboard. I will look for further details later.

Thanks for the reply Robert.

Thanks for the links Robert, very good.
However, it still does not answer my question re: the suitablity of conductonaut thermal paste for my CPU.

I have already replaced the paste with what I had in stock, after cleaning.
I now have both sides off the case of this computer and with the new CPU paste, it is running considerably cooler.
