Configering Radeon9800XT

I've had my Radeon9800 XT for a week or so now, i was just wondering if anyone would be able to help me configure the settings...heh i dont know jack about graphics cards. Also i'm topping out at 60fps in CS, which is odd because i could run it at 75 with my old Geforce FX 9800, yet in diablo 2 i can get around 100, i have rage3d tweak installed, just need some help getting everything set up, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

- What drivers are you using?
- Are you using AA & AF?
- What's your system config?
- Geforce FX 9800 = 5800?
- in CS, are you sure you aren't playing in software mode?

Ah, sorry, it was a Geforce FX 5800, my bad =\. 3.10 catalyst drivers. My system specs are p4 2.6ghz, 512 DDR ram, 80 gig HD,800FSB. Right now my Opengl settings are:
AA-2x
AF-8x
AF method is set at quality
texture preference is high quality
minimap detail level is high quality
wait for vsync set at default on
truform is set at always off.
Positive i'm not running CS in software mode.

Turn off vertical sync...thats why CS isnt maxing out.

You misunderstood, sorry i guess i wasn't very clear, my *old* card was the Geforce FX 5800, my current card is the Radeon 9800 XT configured with the settings i posted above.

I'd rather leave vertical sync on, i tried turning it off when i had my Geforce FX 5800, quality took a big hit.

Also, is your graphics card an XT? and if so, do you have and extra cooling equipment? ie: if i were to set my xt to the same settings with Rage3d tweak, would it hurt it any/be worth it?
