Hi all,

I installed quake 3 server on debian. Works fine so far.
Only I have a question.

Al the config files, server.cfg/autoexec.cfg and the config file you use
at the command line (like: q3ded +exec myconfig.cfg) makes it a bit
unclear.

What to put in what file?? Can someone tell a bit about his ""config
file setup""

Than it's clearer for me.

Thanks in advance,
Roel

as far as technicalities goes, the naming doesn't matter. quake3 .cfg files
are just game executable scripts that have game commands in them, sorta like
..bat files in windows. The only cfg files of signifigance are q3config.cfg
and autoexec.cfg, which are executed at game start and when you enter a
server, respectively.
