Hi! I was wondering if I need some configuration to BIOS when planning to use PCIe Risers? I have tried for a whole day to make my "PC" work by rising the GPU with a PCIe riser. Not working. When I plug the card directly into the Mobo it works fine though. So, do I need to enable/disable something in BIOS to make this work?

The motherboard I have is MSI B250 Krait Gaming

It need SATA power. I do not know how to post pictures from my phone, but I will do it later when I get home.

I stumbled across another problem aswell while trying to get this set up.

I was trying to install just the drivers for my GPU by just plugging it right into the x16 PCI slot. Buuuut, I got an error message. I couldn’t even get a picture on my monitor. It said ‘No signal’.
Luckily I had Remote Desktop installed so I could see it from another PC. Error code 43.
I have read multiple treads about this error. But anything I try it doesnt seem to work. Uninstalling and reinstalling like all the guides says. Uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, different types of troubleshooting, tried multiple PCI slots...

This I have tried.

Anything else I can try to fix these problems?

Correct. As I did not get the riser to work, I tried to directly place the GPU into the PCIe x16 socket on the motherboard to install drivers. But then I got no signal, so I had to access the PC through Chrome Remote Desktop to be able to do anything. And I got the error message "windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (code 43)" when I went to Device Manager til check up on the drivers. Just like this picture:

My PCIe Riser looks exactly like this one:

And I did connect SATA aswell. And GPU got just enough power. But what is worrying me the most now is the error message. How do I fix that? I guess that needs to be fixed before I can make the PCIe Riser work.
