configure DSL-500B dlink as access point

Hi, I'd like to know if is possible to connect my modem to the DLS-500B dlink (ADLS + Router) using a ethernet cable and I need to know also if the DSL-500B can be configured as AP, it means, as access point. Because my final goal is to use the DSL-500B to send the wireless signal to connect with my gadgets such as mobiles, tablets, laptops, etc. Is there a procedure to configurate the DSL-500B as access point router?

No you can't use it as an ethernet router. You probably can use it as an access point. If you can turn off DHCP you should be able to use it as an access point -- http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/36406-43-convert-wireless-router-wireless-access-point
