To start, I have a domain controller in a remote location where the network is centrally located. I just had a modem installed in a warehouse. I want to know how I can connect the modem to the domain. Do I have to forward a port? And how do I do that?

Solution
Is the modem meant to provide internet access to where you are, and then have all your traffic route to the remotely-located DC and network? If so, I think you you need to set up VPN on the router.

Yes, so I don't need to do anything with the modem? I can just go on the router settings and connect it there?
