Question Configure resolution in GT 1030

Hi there. I have a monitor that accepts a maximum resolution of 1440x900, I just bought a GT 1030 video card, my monitor did not have an HDMI input so I bought a "DVI-D to VGA Adapter", the games work faster but despite always choosing the resolution 1440X900, the games look different with the new board, they look like it uses the resolution 800x600 and not 1440x900, I tried to configure the control panel of nvidia but no luck. Is there a solution for my problem?

What's the exact model of GT 1030 and exact model of monitor?

Is the adapter powered or unpowered? Did try changing the resolution in the games, they do not always just use the resolution set in windows.

Hi. Unpowered, yes, I tried to change the resolution of the games but it looks the same, the only thing I have left is to continue testing with the nvidia control panel.
