Hello Tom's Hardware community!

Recently I got on my hands a MAXIMUS X HERO. I have the following concerns/questions about the motherboard's BIOS.

First of all, I have an Intel i7-8700K which I want to run in stock settings for now. So in order to achieve that I know that first of all I have to disable ASUS CME. But also there are a few more questions I need to be answered.

First of all when I activate the XMP Profile, there's a dialog about activating enchament performance which I press "No". When I press Save & Reset the window says that Ai Overclocking Profile changed to XMP and CPU Core Ration changed from Per Core (Default) to AUTO. Also Maximus Tweak changes from AUTO to Mode 1.

Well, in order to achieve the best thermals/voltage with Auto settings (I know in order to hit the sweet spot I should do a manual OC to desired clocks but for now I don't want to do that since I'm not into overclocking for now) and Turbo Boost of Intel serves me well. Should I swap CPU Core Ratio to Sync All Cores, Per Core or Auto?

Plus what about SVID Behavior? Should I leave this on AUTO (Worst Case Scenario) or Typical / Best Case Scenario? Note that my main workflow is Gaming and browsing. I don't do any rendering just some light Photoshop.

And last but not least, which mode should the Intel SpeedStep run? It's Auto on default shall it be on AUTO, Disabled or Enabled?

Hope someone will help me out, I know that CME is better to be OFF since it provides some really high voltages same for the Intel default Boost but it's better to use the Turbo Boost than CME I guess since voltages are lower.

Kind regards and thanks in advance
