Last year, I built a desktop for the sole purpose of editing video (my new found passion). Being my first built, I'd probably under budgeted a certain key elements.
This was my initial built:
I have since upgraded the CPU to 7 3800x. On the other thread, we have decided that I don't need a 3rd party cooler for what I am doing.
I am planning to upgrade the GPU but am a bit confused with all the variation.
I use the machine primarily for Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Some After Effect and Davinci Resolve . I am looking for smooth scrubbing of the video.
Can anyone suggest a GPU that is specific to my need (no gaming) without breaking the bank? Is it necessary to have 8gb instead of 6gb in a GPU?
