[SOLVED] Confused about 1660 variants

So im building a pc pretty soon and was going to go with a 1660 ti as its a good card with a good price, but then I found out that there is actually a super version of the 1660 that comes with the same specs and is also a good amount cheaper. I watched benchmark videos for both cards and they perform the. Is there any differences between the two that matter? or is nvidia just retarded?

From what I've seen it generally looks like GTX 1660 ti > GTX 1660 Super > GTX 1660.

But the naming scheme is getting Street Fighter II levels of silly. Expecting a GTX 1660 Super ti version at some point....

The 1660 super and 1660 ti do not have the same specs, the 1660 ti has more cuda cores, SMs, and TMUs. The 1660 and 1660 super have pretty much the same specs in terms of of hardware, the super has faster GDDR6 memory.

The 1660 ti and 1660 super are close but the 1660 ti does perform a touch better in most games here is a 11 game average. If the super is quite a bit cheaper than the Ti I would get the super.
