Confused about 9700k stock speeds

So I just received my 9700k updated bios, installed windows and first thing I did was install hwmonitor to check temps and the demo version of 3dmark on steam

HW monitor shows it reaches 4804mhz on all 8 cores

According an article I read it says the 9700K is an eight-core and eight-thread processor (that's right no Hyper threading) with a boost up to 4.9 GHz on one single-core. However, it can turbo at 4.6 GHz maximum on all cores.

Is mine running faster than its meant to?

Solution
Which motherboard do you have?

Quite a few vendors have "Multi-Core Enhancement" or some variation thereof.
Essentially running chips out of spec - a sort of 'auto' overclock.
Yeah probably MCE enabled by default, you'd have to read through the manual UEFI section or browse through the UEFI settings to confirm but I wouldn't worry about it. What it does is let all cores turbo to the single or dual core turbo speed by default which is pretty safe as you know any single core can clock that fast already and the MB manufacturers are confident enough in the power delivery of their boards to turn it on by default.

It's technically a mild overclock, but a very safe one.

Temps are fine, I've got minimal cooling.. just the back and front stock fan from the meshify c, and my ncotua nh15s 1 fan i was getting 61c max after 3dmark time spy

Very happy so far, it looks so cool glad I went with the tinted version but pics are impossible to show what it looks like in real life they either make it look too dark or too transparent.
