I purchased a Noctua NH-D15 CPU fan on newegg.com but the directions seem to only mention AMD CPU's. However while looking at a different fan from the same brand it says it is compatible. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page there is a graph and it shows the same fan.

The fan I ordered can be found here on newegg.com: https://www.newegg.com/intel-core-i9-10850k-core-i9-10th-gen/p/N82E16819118176?Item=N82E16819118176

Is the fan I ordered compatible? I have a feeling it is but I wanted to check.

Update: I did a little research and found this page on their website which says it is: https://noctua.at/en/support/compatibility-lists/socket
Link: https://noctua.at/en/support/compatibility-lists/socket

Still wondering if I should just get the brown-looking one since it's cheaper.

There are multiple versions of the NH-D15:
A)The original: Packages made before 2019 are just missing socket AM4 mounting hardware.
B)SE-AM4: This one contains AM4 mounting hardware only.
C)Chromax Black: This one has both Intel and AMD mounting hardware.
