Confused about Graphics Card

I have an Acer V3-571G Laptop with an Nvidia Geforce GT 630M with 2GB graphics card and an Integrated Graphics card. So obviously I set games to use the Nvidia card but for some reason I get low frames and performance issues for new and old games.When I try games using the Integrated card I get better frames like my pc switched them but it has less support for games, Is this a common problem?

hmn... check your temps, install a software to monitor temp specifically for the gpu. it may be getting too hot so it tries to run slowly

I've checked temps it seems fine also tried playing with a fan, the weird thing is that it works fine on integrated even though its not supposed to work for certain games like AC4 blackflag so it is still somehow using the Nvidia card

try updating the drivers, if it already updated, try an older one
