Hello everyone, I have a question for you all.
Recently my Cooler Master Seidon 240m have been running full speed on my CPU ( Around 2400ish RPM )
This have been happening, when my Computer was idle. I went ahead to check the Temps through Aida64, which was showing my CPU Temps around 27°C.
I then went to my BIOS, and changed my RPM speed. I afterwards cleaned my whole Computer, for dust and what not.
Since that it worked just fine. But 2 days ago, it happened again, I came home, booted up, and my Cooler Master Seidon 240m was ready to take off - it was loud and running at full speed.
I then went to my BIOS to change my RPM speed once again and it went back to normal.
Now, I do not know what is going on? I used Prime95 to stress test my CPU, and it was hitting around 80ish degress in just about 2 minutes. And 30-35°C at idle state.
My CPU is however overclocked to around 4.3GHz with 1.240 Voltage.
My Rig is one Year old, and my CPU model is Intel Core i5-4670K core clock 3.4GHz
So, what is going on? Is it too high overclocked, or is it my Cooler Master Seidon 240m that just can't keep it cool?
Or it might be time to put some Thermal Paste on it? Or do I need to replace my CPU, or Cooler Master?
Thanks for your time.
