Confused about the size of GTA 5

hello
i recently got GTA 5 from my friend
its of exactly 60 GB
now i read somewhere that its of about 65 GB
whats the matter
why there are difference in size?

dude, updates and patches remember? it's integrated with GTA Online so new content and fixes will increase the file size

so that means i have too much out dated game and need to update!!

Yeah just try to open it, if u're using steam, the game will update itself when it's necessary

Is this just a copy of the Steam folder or the proper installation file? I'd expect the proper install file to be compressed.

Also the 65gb also is to ensure the HDD isn't filled completely.

It should be the proper installation folder depends on how much update are included in the installlation, sometimes, games won't add all the update into the installation, so after u install it, it will still need to be updated it again
