I've been looking into possible PSU upgrades for my PC. Currently I have a 750 Watt OEM ATX,

And i'm looking to install this-

However, I bought my PC a while ago from Alienware, and i've been told they use proprietary parts and connectors. I'm worried that if I buy the Corsair PSU, I might not have the right connectors for my current hardware. The cable i'm most worried about is the 8-pin EPS + 12-Volt power connector, which seems to be plugged into my Motherboard, along with the 24 pin one.

Mabye the connector's renamed or something on the Corsair Power Supply, i'm not sure. Any help would be most welcome!

I'm looking to replace it due to the small electrical noise coming from my current power supply, i've heard it's harmless, but now that i've noticed it, it's driving me insane. (I've checked the mounting screws, leads, everything).

Thank you so, so much. Overall, do you think the Corsair is viable for my PC? I'm not that experienced with PC's, as you can probably tell, and i've only ever installed a GPU and CPU (And ram) /palm.

Thank you. :)

Awesome. I'm a tad paranoid about installing a power supply, my current leads seem to be weaved through the whole computer shell. But I hope all goes well really! :D

Once again, thank you!

Weaving through the shell is generally a good practice, since the more cables are out of the way, thebetter the airflow, the better cooling your computer gets. Plus it looks better :)

Good luck! It is a pretty simple fix, you will do fine.
