I currently in the middle of fixing my broken PC, and I was trying diffrnt part configurations to see what is wrong. I'm trying to get a Ryzen 5600 to boot to BIOS with a MSI B550m VC WIFI. That isnt working because of either a broken CPU or wrong ir damaged BIOS.
In an effort to troubleshoot, I installed an older processor (Ryzen 1400g, I know it isn't supported) to see if the RAM was the issue. I have Debug LEDs, and it indicated that the RAM was the problem. That didn't happen with the 5600. Is it normal for unsupported CPUs to give off a DRAM error?

Are you sure you got the CPU's model correct?

According to the motherboard manual;
https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/PROB550M-VCWIFI.pdf
page 22 + 46, you have a BIOS FlashBack feature, dubbed Flash BIOS Button, see if flashing the BIOS with the latest version helps revive your platform with the 5000 series processor. Also, which slots are you rams populating on the motherboard?
I forgot to mention the Flashback, which I have tried and mbye successfully done several times. The ram is in A2.
