Confused on choosing the right GPU

im planning to upgrade my sapphire HD 7770 to an AMD R9 280x 3gb or Geforce GTX 770 2GB. I'm quite puzzled which one to choose because performance wise both are same but the price of amd R9 280x is relatively cheap than the gtx 770.
I would like to play all high end games in high settings,each character should look like real and basically i need a realistic and a life-like experience when i play these games...
so what gpu would you suggest?I have seen a lot of videos in YouTube regarding this but still im confused. price is not an issue!!! out of these two which will suit best!and please mention the best brand that has the better cooling too...

It depends on what games you most play with, check the links you can see both are good, so buy the GPU is good for those game you play.

also we need to know more about you as a gamer. traditionally nvidia has a lower time frame variance. do the micro stutters bother you? do you not care and want to go for broke and get the best fps (go for amd) cooling and power consumption seem to be big things right now as well. are you concerned with heat? the amd is going to run hotter, but it also will do you better in the long run for doing multi-monitor setup later, as it has a bit more memory.
