Confused over Power LED Connectors

So I've managed to get the rest of the connectors from my desktop case mounted in their respective headers, but the power LED connector is still a mystery to me. Instead of a single wire with a 2- or 3-pin plug at the end, it is two separate wires each with a 1-pin plug at the end marked "+PLED". Before you ask, yes you read that correctly. BOTH of these little 1-pin plugs are marked positive.

After reading the manuals, there are only 5 possible places to attach these 2 plugs. There are 2 pins on the system header; one marked "PLED +", and one marked "PLED -". Then there is a separate PLED header with 3 pins; two marked "PLED +", and one marked "PLED -" next to them.

I've already tried attaching the plugs into the two PLED + pins next to each other on the PLED header, and that doesn't appear to have worked. I'd like to see if there's something I'm missing or something I don't know about before I just start randomly running through every possible arrangement. And yes, I have read the manuals; they didn't offer any helpful information about this.

No harm can be done here.
One wire marked + goes to the PLED+, Therefore the other must go to the PLED -.
If you get either wrong, the power LED won't work, but no harm is done.
When you get it right, it works.

Well the board most likely has support for cases that allow different modes if the computer is in sleep mode or full power. I would try one lead with the + connector and another with the - connect on the motherboard and if that does not work try switching them. Does the motherboard manual give you any hint as to what the connectors do?

What exact make/model motherboard do you have.
