Confused over which M.2 SSD slot connector

It's been a while since I've built a PC so I've decided to just build something small but I'm confused over this new M.2 SATA/PCIe stuff. This is the machine I'm going to buy > http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16856164032
I'm not sure which SSD to get for it. It says it takes M.2 slot (2280 storage) but when I search for this I get two types of connectors. Is this the right one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211950
Or is it something like this one: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104542
Plz help!

Look at the manual for the mobo. It'll say what type of M.2 it supports

None of those links work. And since PCI-E SSD is new, it may need a BIOS update before it'll support one

The first link according to the Gigabyte site (for a revision 1) is 2280. So you would buy a 2280 slot M.2

And both the Adata and HyperX M.2 should work. Since both say 2280

Yes they are both 2280 length but one is SATA the other PCIe and the connectors are different in the photos.

It's probably for PCI-E based SSD cards. For desktops
