Ok is the:
DRAM Frequency 1733.0 MHz in timings in cpuz the same as:
Speed in MHz in the memory page in task manager?
windows 10

Make sure when you're changing the speed you're saving the changes in the bios and not just exiting.

I definitely did that but it still wont change>???

I have similar issues, when you boot back in the bios is it showing the correct speed? For instance, i have the corsair vengance RGB pro 3200mhz But when i load the iCUE, (their led leighting software) it shows the speed at 2333mhz. But other programs such as Speccy show it at its actual speed. Task manager also has mine listed at 2333mhz.

Right! I cant figure it out! :{

Does the bios have it listed at the correct speed? If so it probably is. YOu can try running a speed test with it oc'd and then go back in the bios to set it back to default, and see if the score changes

Sweet ill give that a shot! Thanks

Sorry guys I was on a hiatus, Ok im super confused now, because I have the task manager telling me that only 3 slots at 12gb are being used at 3466mhz then I have the resource monitor telling me I have 3 slots at 12gb installed at 3466mhz as well, cpuz telling me that I have triple channel or 3 slots at 12gb and being used at 1733mhz, but in cpuz in the Memory slot selection I go through the slots and only 2 show up in the list. as well as it telling me that the max bandwidth is 1066mhz?????

I am super confused!

Please help im going to swap around my ram sticks and and see if that helps while I wait for a response. 🙂) its 2 a.m. I apologize if I don't respond pretty quick)

Cpuz shows actual speed as mentioned. Double Data Rate 1733 x 2 = 3466mhz effective speed. The max bandwidth showing 1066 is because that is listing the ram specs that it's reading off the ram and the stock speed is 2133. You never mentioned what ram you have.

I apologize dint evem think:
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3466

And i will have to try to respond while working.... so i will respond as quick as i can.

I didnt, let me change them and i will update this, and i just swapped the ram around and no change.

Update: Ok now i'm even more confused:

When i went into the bios it shows all 4 sticks of ram, each with there 4096 mb but with a total of 12288??? but all of them where set to 3466mhz then I went to change the speed to 2133mhz
and now it shows that all 4 sticks are running now at 3466mhz, What!? as well as I saw in one of the photos that there is a dram timing set to auto?...
do i keep it that way or should i change that?
so there are 6 photos below showing everything:

Before change:

Afterchange:

I didn't should I give that A shot?

Seems to be helping not by much though.
Could you explain how to see the actual speed using cpu-z maby i'm just confused by that.

How is is helping but not by much?

In cpuz, the memory tab shows what it's running at. If dram frequency shows 1066.5 (actual speed) then the effective speed is double, 2133. That's the 2133mhz ram speed that you were referring to. You want cpuz to say 1733 so you are running at 3466.

So I tried doing that and I am met with non stop blue screens when it gets to the login screen. the first blue screen said "attempted to write to readonly memory" then the rest where just the sending/saving crash report files.
