Confused with bios flash

I am Building a Gaming PC

Here are my spec

MSI K9A2 Platinum
8GB kingston RAM
ATI Radeon 3870 (i know it's outdated)
AMD Phenom II 955
HI-Power Black 1000w modular
ZALMAN CNPS8700 NT
The case i am using is not easy to find on the internet but belive me it certanly has enough cooling (6 quiet fans!!!)

I currently have it all assembled outside the case to do the bios update
I am using a amd athlon to do the update.

Can Someone guide me on how to do the update as this is my first time building a PC and I dont want to get it wrong

PS: I am updateing the bios because the current bios on the board dose not suport the phenom II 955 also the board has never been turned on and this will be the first time it has ever been swiched on.

Download the BIOS from here:

Follow the instructions included in the download. Make a bootable disk. It say's floppy in the instruction but any bootable media should work.

I know about that allready but it sais at the top of the page do not flash from floppy but down the page it tells me to create a ms dos but floppy

should i try to get a usb ms dos boot disk or take the risk and use a floppy disk
